Yvonne:  I love that you are blending!  For everyone else reading, always remember to understand each enzyme by itself with no boost so you don't get too aggressive too soon for your clients.  By the way, I have a secret ... I have been boosting my Passionfruit enzyme with glycolic and I do put it under steam (even though the protocol says no boosting and no steam).  It's amazing.

I started using SS about three months ago. I have been boosting the Raspberry with Glycolic as an upgrade and my clients have been loving it. The Glycolic pads are an easy sell I have sold over 6 in the past month. The Peptide cream is amazing. Continuing to add more to my backbar and retail.

Hi Lizabeth:  I'm interested in hearing other's feedback on this.  I would agree that an enzyme is NOT an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA); however, we do have certain enzymes (such as our Lemon Zest, Pomegranate, Blueberry) where we HAVE added AHAs and betas to the enzymes to make them more potent.  I would say you are safe with our Raspberry, Coconut, and Passionfruit enzymes.

I would love a sample, thank you so much!!  I love this idea for a facial too.  I meant to order the product manual too but I will get that as I am sure I will be placing another order.  I can't imagine not liking the products after seeing all of this feedback!!

I was talking to another esti about WI chemical peel laws and she told me that an enzyme doesn't fall under AHA? I am confused because I just read an article that put enzymes under a sub-category of AHA... Help

Hi Sheila.  For summer, I love the "Beach Facial".  It's the Coconut/Papaya facial protocol.  It involves the Coconut enzyme (for all skin types as it's most gentle) and the Seaweed Mask would be a cool dip in the ocean.  You could even incorporate brown sugar as a scrub with the coconut enzyme to replicate sand exfoliation.  I also just send an e-mail newsletter about the Passionfruit enzyme we just received back in stock yesterday.  This one is gentle for exfoliation, but it is an amazing firming facial as it contains a peptide named Kollaren.  This passionfruit enzyme would not have been in your sample pack as we just received it yesterday.  Let me know if you're interested and I'll send a sample to you.

What are good summer protocols for facials?  I am in Florida so I know that people will be in the sun but would love to offer some sort of upgrade to a regular treatment facial.  I just ordered both sample retail and sample backbar products plus the eye peptide and the blemish spot tx.  I am already extremely impressed with how quickly my order was placed and shipped the same day!!  I can't wait to get my package :).

Hi Angela:  We have a great 8-week TCA protocol for pigmentation and sun damage.

Week 1 - Consultation and client starts homecare to prep for peels.  Specifically, the glycolic cleanser, glycolic/retinol pads (these pads are our number 1 skin lightening product), and ageless hydrating serum (among other products).

Week 2 - Glycolic Peel

Week 3 - Lactic Peel

Week 4 - 2 layers of our gentle TCA (mild flaking for 4-6 days)

Let the skin rest.

Week 8 - 4-6 layers of TCA.

This is an amazing protocol without a lot of down time.  If your client will have sun exposure this summer, then you might try the Lemon Zest Enzyme through the summer until you can start the peel series.  The Lemon Zest was made for normal to dry skin with pigmentation.

Great thank you!  Placing the order today!  I just love how active you are on here and all of the suggestions for protocols and the education.  I am definitely not getting that from my current line and I feel that it's important!  Looking forward to receiving them!
