Hi Lisa.  I had a new (19 year old) client in today for a facial.  She is a Fitz 1, has redness, some inflamed acne and lots of bumps under the skin.  She is also taking Epiduo (adapalene and benzoyl peroxide) for the acne.  Would it be okay to use the coconut enzyme on her while on the Epiduo?

Perfect! Thanks so much Lisa!

Hi Tara - absolutely you can use the Ageless Skin Hydrating Serum and the Vitamin C with galvanic.  They have a lower pH and are considered acidic and they have a positive polarity.

Is there anywhere that says if the serums have a negative or positive polarity? I just got my facial machine and I am wondering if I could use the galvanic roller to help push the serums into the skin.

Could this be an allergy to lactic possibly? I did a lactic on a client and had a similar reaction with red tiny bumps and irritation.

I neutralize when I add to the enzyme, i.e. glycolic or any other peel. Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse anyone. :-)

Hi Willie:  No, it is not necessary to neutralize the enzymes; however, if you feel it is necessary, please do so.  I'm going to call you directly to discuss her background / lifestyle as to she is still stinging.

Also, is it necessary to neutralize the enzymes?

Hi again, Now I feel really bad for my client. I've used the Lemon Zest often lately and no one has responded negatively to it. I even used it on myself this past weekend. I have some small feathering of skin but that's it.

I checked in on my client and here is her response. I'm not sure how to proceed. Should I have her come back in and put her under the Celluma LED panel?

"

It stings a bit.  My entire face is blotchy, has little bumps and feels like sandpaper.  Just tell me it will get better and that my skin has not changed forever!
Thanks for checking in."
It's still stings... Any help is helpful.
