Hi Everyone:

If you feel the scrub is difficult to remove with the enzyme, I would ask how much scrub you are using?  Keep trying, it will come off.  If you have to use two towels I'm sure your client wouldn't mind (although you are right that you have the extra laundry).  I use as many towels as needed.  I actually use 4 hand towels and 6 washclothes in each facial.  Yes, I know its extra laundry, but my clients love it.

If I were to exfoliate the lips, I would use the coconut (a very small amount to massage into the lips that wouldn't cause flaking).  Use the Peptide Eye Cream after the coconut enzyme.  I use the Peptide Eye Cream anytime I have chapped lips and it cures them immediately.

Regarding your question on how many uses you can get out of each size, please e-mail me at lisa@skinscriptrx.com and I can give you my calculations on "price per treatment" based on number of uses per item.  It's a little complicated, but I divided each back bar size into number of uses and the price per use.  I tend to lean on the heavy side of product usage so I think my calculations should be accurate.

Another question...sorry :).

Is there a breakdown of the products for how many uses you can get out of each size?  I know you mentioned in class a 4oz mask or enzyme should give you about 16 treatments but I wondered if there was anything about other products.  I obviously haven't paid close attention and need to, I know I def use way too much product but I was thinking more for my clients when selling retail like if used correctly you can get x amount of treatments so this should last you x amount of time.  I usually say 2 or so months but wanted to be more exact.  Just curious. As always, thanks so much!

I feel the same way about the scrub. I like the results but it is hard to get off. So far it seems if I use a hot towel after I remove with cotton it comes off better but then makes for more laundry.

After class on Monday I have decided to step things up a notch!!  Today for the first time I tried the retinol scrub with steam and put the enzyme on top (a rasp peach and then lemon zest on another client).  both had clogged pores in the nose and I really loved the results!!  Any suggestion for removing?  I use warm towel and wiped with sponges to remove but I still feel like there is scrub left on and when I do my face massage I can't decide if it bothers the client. I used my dermafile on top of the green tea cleanser today too for the first time.  :).

Question, would you ever put an enzyme close to underneath the eye for some exfoliation or on the lips?

Sheila:  When you order, you can request silver pumps to go with your cleansers and/or moisturizers.  They will fit the neck, you just need to cut the dip tube to fit the bottle.  They aren't the most reliable pumps and that's why I went to flip caps, but I still have some if you'd like to request them.

I am thinking about selling pumps to go with the cleansers and the moisturizers (ageless and light aloe).  What size pump would I need?  I tried the pump that came with the lactic peel and I think it would work so when you get a chance can you let me know.  I think the pump would control the product coming out better, especially since I am using mostly retail sizes for my backbar.    Thanks!!

OOOHH I don't know :).. we already talked about the mandelic, but maybe something for Rosacea, hyperpigmentation (which I know we have the pads and vitamin c) but was thinking slighly more aggressive or concentrated?, maybe some type of oxygen treatment or serum, vitamin a serum, something for firming like neck and decollete, stem cells, etc.  I know this gets more pricey and I love the price point of SS and the products.   I don't know I love serums and love being able to cocktail them together so was just thinking more than the ageless and vit c :).
