I am a newly licensed Esthetician and I am loving it so far. I want to know how to market myself if I am working from home as well as a salon. I want to always be busy but not sure how to make that happen. I hope to get lots of tips and great advise here!

Hello to everyone.  I attend a small school for Esthetics in Newton NC.  Anew Vision Academy.  l love our school.  I also work full time 10 hours a day in another job, (until I finish paying for school).  I go to class PT from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.  I love doing facials! Not only does it relax our clients that come to the school, but it relaxes and energizes me too. I look forward to reading about everyone here and your journeys too.

I have info on a organic, holistic aromatherapy line you can get started with for 200.00. You can retail to clients with no stock, they order online.

I'm having such a hard time finding a job! I don't have the funds to rent or buy my own products. Anyone have any suggestions?

I new Esti doing a few facials out of a very small salon.  I don't care for the product line used there.  Any suggestions on how to get another line in?  I can't afford to purchase another line but the owner is open to it

I am an Esthetician in Fort Collins, CO....  I have my own studio, and I am having a hard time building my business.  I have done certification training with PCA and I am so excited to share it with the world!  I have thought about trying seize the deal and living social.  Has anyone tried that and had success with return clientele?  Any other ideas would be helpful as well.

I'm in No. Cali, and received my license in March 2010, so just about a year. I opened my own little studio for skincare and makeup, but I would love feedback on certain subjects and forums. I like being able to go to a place in my profession where I can find support and hopefully answers. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

This is my second year as an Esthetician (sole practioner) in San Jose, CA and I love what I do! I'm thrilled with all the benefits that ASCP provides us and now with the new discussion forums.  Ladies, I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing information.
