No, but you need to show that you are a make up artist as well, by submitting something like your business card or brochure. The MAC Pro page provides their requirements. I hope this helps.
You are able to get a M.A.C. Pro card ($35) with an Esthetician License or a letter from a professional photographer stating you are doing Professional Makeup for them as a Makeup Artist. The Esthetician License will provide you with a discount of 30% and the letter from a Professional Photographer will entitle you to a 40% discount with free shipping from MAC.com for orders over $100. The professional discounts will not apply in department stores - it must be a free standing MAC store. MAC Pro also offers special classes held in your area and you will be kept in the loop regarding launches and trends. Don't forget their recycling program.. for every six empty MAC containers (compacts, mascara, twist up liners, lash casing, primers, foundation and even brush cleaner) you may have a free lipstick of your choice (excluding the Viva Glam Line)
Why don't you all check out Jane Iredale makeup. They are offering a generous Makeup Artist program and u only need ur esty license!!! 70% OFF!!! They ask u to sign a letter of intent so u don't resale their products, and there is no minimum! I just spent my life in their line, and will work exclusively with it.
