Jackie, what is the protocol your using? I'm not sure why you would be getting cysts on your cheek and jawline. It almost sounds like a hormonal problem. Have you tried the ormedic products? I sell quite a bit of Image skincare to my clients and I haven't had any negative feedback. I will say that their products are quite active and you need to be careful on what your recommending to certain clientele who are sensitive.
This is what I use. I feel like my skin likes the Glycolic cleanser best followed by the Resurfacing mask 1 time per week when needed. Afterwards I was using the Vital C serum and repair cream. Then I wanted to switch back to the max line for the stem cells and within just a few days I broke out in 3 cysts on the same side of my face. I noticed I broke out the last time I tried it, so maybe it is just to rich for me. So then I tried the Vit c ACE serum and it burned. So now I switched to the vit c cleanser with some ormedic line. One of my clients is having the same issue, within 1 week she was so dry and flaking from the VC Line. Not sure what is going on. I am going to stop using the products until I can figure what is going on. Maybe I shouldn't use the glycolic cleanser everyday. Thanks ladies, I'm a mess..
Your client could possibly be sensitive to vitamin C. I would give her an Ormedic trial kit. It does sound like you need to step back and maybe use just the Ormedic cleanser for a few days to calm things down. The biopeptide creme is very soothing/healing and it never breaks my skin out. You very well may not be able to use the Max products. Have you called corporate to get any ideas there??
I agree with trying the Ormedic line. My mom is extremely sensitive. She cannot use any of the Ageless products. She can use the Vital C line and has had no reaction. She loved the Ormedic line. When I have 'abused' my skin by keeping a peel on too long and when my skin had a bad reaction to the Clear Cell Clarifying pads, I used the Ormedic line and this really healed my skin and calmed the irritation. (I really wish the Clear Cell Pads did not have alcohol in them.) Good luck!!
Thanks Ladies, I think I will stay with Ormedic for awhile. So then I am going to take the guess that the Vit C, was to strong for my client. As she is demanding answers. She uses Bioelements and it works best for her, I told her to stay with those products then. I did custom blend the really rich moisturizer with Images serums and she is complaining about that now.
@Diane, when recommending products to sensitive skin clients I thought the VC Line was for them? Guessing now I should first try them or Ormedic line. Most clients don't like the ormedic serum. They feel sticky..
I don't put anyone with reactive skin on the vital c. I breakout from it. I love Image for mature skin, but have a hard time with clients that are younger. I have used it for over 5 years and it sells well. I can only use the Max and ormedic cleanser myself. I am looking forward to the new products and make up they are coming out with.
@Beth, I gave her all the VC Line, Cleanser, hydrating vc serum, vc repair cream, ultimate preventative spf. Her skin changed after she was pregnant. Her skin is paper thin and pale. Probably a fitz 1. Her cheeks are always red and warm. I thought the vc line was for sensitive, rosacea type skin. Do you have another line you sell as well? I was looking into Glo Therapeutics to have on hand for the ones that can't use Image.
I use the Vita C. line and Ormedic only as I am a ICA and therefore only use the product as a base. Please note these are backup and sale items (for take home). My main line is Declore as a base and I purchase my EO's from Swiss Organics
Jackie- if she has compromised, hormonal skin from pregnancy, she definitely needs to be on Ormedic. That is the line that is formulated for pregnant, unbalanced, menopausal, etc. skin. The Biopeptide creme would be fantastic for her.
@Gina, after her pregnancy her skin changed. But I do have a pregnant lady coming in with this issue so I will definitely be putting her on that line. Thanks ladies for all your wonderful help. Much appreciated.
SO. I have my first run-in with a client with smell aversions.... She received a facial and loved it,- and there were no indications of displeasure regarding the smells of the products... but after purchasing a product, finds herself unable to use it because of the smell and doesn't seem keen on any smells at all. I am trying to explain the concept of essential oils, dissipation, etc... but not sure it is helping her. She is very disappointed we don't offer a "fragrance free" product (even though, in actuality, ALL our products are "fragrance free") but what she means is NO SMELL. Which, essentially, is impossible b/c the only way to smell nothing is to mask the ingredients. Am I right??
Any suggestions??
She has some Rosacea, so since the Vital-C didn't work (aversion to citrus) I am going to next try Biopeptide. But am concerned that will be too aromatic. WILL have her sample FIRST....

Hi Ladies, how is everyone. Well I have some issues with a client that I just can't seem to get under control. She is having some problems with sensitivity to L-absorbic acid and rashed out. Her skin is blotchy underneath and now scaly. I called the company but not sure if they even knew what was going on. So I had put her on ormedic serum spf ultimate used anti aging serum= broke out took her off that. gave her the lightening serum, helped but still dry and flaky Now I gave her a sample of the ormedic serum to go over top of the lightening serum is what Image told me to do.
If that didn't work I was going to have her use the biopeptide cream but image said that would be to much for her.
She is constantly calling me freaking out which I understand but she won't give her skin a chance to calm down. I don't know,I would rather her not have tried the products than have to deal with something I can't figure out.... Please help... thanks ladies.
P.s. Since the chicago rep left the company who has taken over for her? Are you all getting help from her or are we just on our own when it come to customer service.
It sounds like she needs to stop everything except the Ormedic cleanser. I wouldnt keep throwing products at her. I think I would have her use the cleanser and the ultimate or spf only for at least a week and see if things calm down.
She may be a good candidate for the max products.
I will be seeing her tomorrow night for a mini facial to check out her improvement. Image said that lightening serum is so calming that they use it after chemical peels. She said the rash is not red anymore but she is still very dry. My rep was jessical oulton. She was always their to answer my texts very quickly. So really I have no one helping me now. (Except everyone here and I thank you all so very much) So After investing 2grand in start up, I don't really want to change lines again but If I don't have any customer support I will.
@Gina, She was only using the Ormedic cleanser, anti aging serum and spf. By the 2nd day she rashed out. I took her off the serum and image told me to put her on the lightening serum, 2days later I gave her a sample of the ormedic serum to put over the lightening serum is what image told me to do. She was still very dry and flaky and had to use the spf at night. So this has taken place over the last 2 weeks. I was going to see if the biotin cream would help. I guess we will see, this line just may not be for her. Some people can't handle the active ingredients I guess.
Question - Did she first experience red Blotching that spread? Did the blotching turn to dry flaking and itch? Did she have any type of breakout in the red area? Most importantly have you seen her to examine this problem?
Hello, I just open my private skincare practice in Weston,Fl I have 25 years of experience and I have worked with several product lines before, I am using Image in my office, I work with this line in the past and a I choose them because the ingredients narrow down the best ingredients available to quality skincare technology, I love them!!!!!
Found out the client I was having issues with is sensitive to L-absorbic acid. All my clients that have rosacea and sensitive skin can't use the Vital C line. Which is what I thought that line was for her type of skin. The Ormedic line is working great for her now. I added a new product into my line called Nerium Ad, it's replacing all the glycolic acids and retinols from Image. I've seen faster results in 10 days then I did with the Eye lift cream on myself. Does anyone know of a skin scanner that can read the depth of wrinkles. Not like a woods lamp but one I can take before and after photos to show the percentage of skin corrections. Thanks everyone..
Jackie the culprit in the Vita C is two fold, 1.is the Isohexadecane, and the other is Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (orange Oil). There is no L-absorbic acid in the Vita C. You need to remember that ISC is a large company they need to keep cost down (thats why you have Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) and not the Geniune and Authentic (it would be cost prohibitive) but the mass manufactured oil (this is the bitter orange oil from the peel and gosh knows the provanance). The correct C would be Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate. Please be sure and tell Image about the problem you have had. Believe me you are not the ONLY one seeing this problem. Ladies please remember to READ the ingredients! Just because someone tells you something is in a product DOES NOT mean it is!!!
@ Chere, so the Vital C Hydrating Anti Aging Serum 15% L-ascorbic Acid is not really what it says it is. I did call Image about this and they told me she was having a reaction to the L-Ascorbic Acid. I went to the Image training and they listed this as an ingredient along with BVOSC so not sure what your are referring to here.
I apologize to you Jackie as I did not make myself clear this is totally my fault. I was talking about the Vital-C cleanser. However, By using the L-Ascorbic Acid Image Skin Care is using the cheapest (which is understantable they need to maintain a profit), as well as the LEAST stable form of Vitamin C. The more stable and less irritating form is Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (of course it is from 25 to 30 times more expensive). It is no wonder your client has had a reaction - unfortunately many do (be very careful this leads to sensitization). It is my personal feeling that Image Skin care may be more than aware of this problem and will be steadfast and quick to correct it.

Any of you west coast image users order from aesthetics plus? I just heard they aren't carrying image anymore... So I guess this means I have to order direct from image in Florida, rather than through my rep here in ca? I'm kinda confused and wondering why aesthetis plus isn't carrying image anymore!
I don't understand why you order through your rep. You should be ordering directly through the company which is in Florida. I used to work for a spa that used Emminence and the rep said to order through her. It turned out she had a spa and was getting credit for the orders and the product kickbacks. I guess I'm just suspicious ever since. That being said, I always order from Florida, didnt know they had a west coast distribution center.
Ya, I've always ordered through a rep! I thought that was normal... Hmm. Well, image corporate just contacted me and told me to order through them now. Strange.
Hi Everyone! I am thinking of incorporating Image Skincare to my place. I was wondering if you and image has a facial protocol for each of their line (ex. anti-aging, signature, acne, sensitive skin...etc) thanks!

@Shelly, I have been using the Ageless lashes consistently for a little over 3 weeks now. If anything, I feel that my lashes look healtheir and the growth is consistent. As far as my lashes being longer and fuller, I can't make that claim.
Sounds like this customer's skin was so thin and sensitive, probably due to her home care she is currently using. As Susan mentioned, that she might of been allergic or sensitive to Aloe Vera and that is common among some people. Did you ask her about having any allergies or sensitivity to skincare? Just out of curiousity, when you removed the mask, was her skin red? I can't help but sometimes think that certain customers over react when they are real particular about
Shelly, I have been using the Ageless lashed and I have noticed my lashes are much fuller and it also helped my brows fill in, something Latisse never did. I haven't noticed any length change. At the launch party I attended everyone I asked said they had great results with it. I brought it into my practice and it sells quickly , it doesn't burn the eyes either.
Hi Ladies, I'm after some help. I had a client undergo her 4th Image lightening Peel on Thursday. i got a txt from her to day say her skin has some shedding, around her eyes were red this time and should she countuine her skin care.
I replied yes... keep up the hydration.
Some 6 hours later Ive received another this time informing me that her skin is hot and burning when she applied the masque and the max creme. its at this point my client has now informed me that she left the masque on Friday night fell asleep woke up Saturday with red around her eyes. i have no idea what to suggest to her @11.18pm on a Sunday night but a cool damp face washer. any advice
From my experience she will need to stop all Image products and use only Vaseline until the redness and irritations subside. I haven't found any Image products that help and don't make it worse when the skin is like this. I always use Vaseline around the entire orbital are and the nasal labial folds before doing a peel for the same reasons you listed. Good luck.

Not one bit happy about the new Iluma Lightening Serum. Looks like they took out kojic acid and added in pore clogging ingredients, and raised the price drastically ($4 WS increase)? Not cool. I cannot give this product to my acne-prone clientele anymore because of the Algae Extract and the Chlorella. Sorry Image, not a good move there. The lightening serum was a best seller for us- not anymore!
Totally agree with you. I am VERY disappointed with it as well. I also feel like I can no longer prescribe it to my Rosacea clients because they're now experiencing a tingling, itchy sensation. Almost rash-like.

Jackie have you tried the Ormedic products on your skin? or on your sensitive clients?
