Thanks Lisa for the info! I have one small child and want to have another one in the near future and we love to go a week at a time away on vacation. What do you do as far as taxes etc for her? Is she a sub contractor or is she your employee? I know the IRS is specific with the guidelines for sub contractors. I just do not know where to start. Do you 1099 her? or have her on payroll? My other question would be how do you know if your worker is not pocketing cash and saying it was a "no show"? I know you said you do online booking what company do you use and how much does it run a month? Whenever you get a chance if you can respond. Thanks so much for the help....maybe one day I will be brave and make the move :o)
I read your post from earlier in the year. I am in the exact same situation as you. Did you have any luck hiring someone? I have been on my own in an office for 9 years and would like to incorporate someone else into the practice. It is very scary to trust someone else and to depend on them being reliable. Any luck or tips for me? =)
Welcome Lisa! I think you'll like it here! I live not far from you! email me if you might wish to get together in person for some "shop talk"! skinmaven_net@yahoo.com
