Nichole, I would highly suggest working in a medical setting or a spa and get some experience before you attempt working on your own. Going through facial school is a breeze, however, it is what you learn afterwards will make the greater impact on your career. You have to find out what you truly are the most interested in, either to work in the medical field or spa/salon. Wishing you all the best!!!
I've been been an esty for 8 years.
You will have to check with the schools in Tampa. I'm not familiar with any there. You may want to wait until you move. It may be cheaper and less time to take an advanced class instead of the basic and then an advanced.
Ive had it 2 months I love it I do it once every 2 weeks yes I use sunscreen lol I love it there is no mess yeah those are the places Ive checked I don't know I think I have to get one with a warranty but I thank you for all you help!! it means alot !!! :) how long have you been into the biz?
I love diamond microderm. It is so much easier than the cystals. I used to have a huge $2,000 machine, but sold it when I moved to FL. I'm looking into getting another one, but much less expensive. How long have you had yours? Any issues? Remember not to use it too much. On my clients I say once a week for 7 - 8 weeks and then take a break for awhile. And wear sunscreen!!! You will get a nasty burn without that the added protection of the layers of skin you are peeling off.
As far as a multi-function, check Craigslist. What you really need is a mag light, steamer and hot towel cabi. Those are the basics and they can all be bought seperate or as a multi-funcion machine. Some places online....I think ebay have good deals for start ups too that include a bed, stool and cart. Since you don't have your license yet, you can take your time looking for the items and you will find a lot in Tampa and Orlando.
