How beneficial is it to attend the IECSC?  I'm considering a trip to the one in Vegas this year.  Are their Esthetician training classes offered.  (Advanced training?)

Great!!! It looks like I'm going to the show in Vegas. I wake up thinking of how I'll get back into this line of work. I'm so excited =]

i would highly reccommend going to a show. you can stay on top or just know of the latest trends. And the energy is so amazing. when you leave there you will be inspired to do your best.  you dont have to take the advanced classes. you can even just go and take the manufacturers classes. Which is also really good. because you can really learn the products you use from the inside out! and there you are able to ask what ever questions you may have. and find a lot of specials for going to the show :)

I've been out of the business for five years, any classes you recommend as a priority?

Hi Amanda, vegas has a very large line up of education. In fact I will be launching ASCP's skin pro education in a 3 hour workshop at Las Vegas. There are a ton of advanced education classes available in the longer format not to mention all of the manufacturer classes during the show.

ASCP members get a discount and here is a link to their catalog.IECSC Las Vegas Catalog

There are courses, are they worth it?
