Was wondering if anyone uses Image products. I'm having trouble deciding on a skin care line. I have used a few other product lines but Image seems to be my favorite thus far. I'm looking into starting my own business and just need some suggestions. Thanks!

Hi Seci,
Sorry, but I have not had any experience with Skin Scripts.
To add to my previous comment about IMAGE though I just attended their new 2015 product launch party, and I have a follow up class scheduled in a week. I am really excited about the new products and look forward to incorporating them in my practice, so yeah all good things so far.
I wanted to add though one of the ways I got so familiar with so many product lines was literally by sending emails and placing phone calls. As long as you are licensed most companies will send you free trial samples and literature if you ask for it. I tried products from no exaggeration at least 25 different companies last year. I liked some a little more then others, but its a good way to help you get a feel for what your looking for. One thing that was majorly important to me was that the line not be very fragrant. I am highly allergic to essential oils and have to be careful about my exposure to them. Getting your hands on samples will really help you sort your priorities. Do you want an eco-conscious, paraben free, cruelty free, non-irritating gentle line, or are you looking for something high in actives that gives quick results? I hope this at least helps you get an idea of how to get started choosing your line.
Roberta,
Thank you so much for the information. I have been looking at several but I would agree with you, I will do a trail run and see how I like it. But I have heard good things about IMAGE skincare.
Thank you,
Stacey
Hi Stacy,
Deciding on a skincare line is challenging as a number of variables come into play, but heres how I came to my decision. I carry IMAGE Skincare in my studio, and there were two major deciding factors. I gave the product line a trial run and was able to see results firsthand. I am a true oily/acneic skin type and I was happy with the changes in my skin so I bought a few more products to test on others with different skin concerns for comparison. I was happy with those results as well.
So on to the deciding factors
1. The education and customer service support are great. I took my first class a few months ago and another since then. My service rep is so present and available. Her help was invaluable getting me started. I had limited funds to invest in product and she sat down and walked me through what products would benefit me based on the treatments I planned to offer. Plus she comes to my area quarterly so I don't have to pay to travel for continuing education. There will always be a class held in my area.
2. My bottom line. IMAGE is affordable, for me and for my clients. There are lots of wonderful cosmeceutical brands out there, but will your clients be able to see you on a regular basis and purchase retail? What do you want your profit margin to be? I am not willing to discount my services so bringing on an effective line that wouldn't price me out of the market was essential.
Good luck in your search. I am happy with IMAGE if you go with them I'm sure you will be as well.
