Hi. I was wondering if you wanted to create a cosmetic line or skin care with a private label what insurance companies offer coverage? How do you go about getting insurance for your new skin creams and makeup? In case someone had an allergic reaction or just decided to complain.

From my research many insurance companies don't want to know. They don't seem to understand that you wouldn't be creating things from your kitchen but with a professional private label company.  If there is anyone on here who has their own line and knows what to do for insurance, please respond. If you have ASCP insurance does that cover private labels?

Thanks

My first question to you would be, why do you want to start your own 'Private Label'? If it is not your own, what is the benefit?

But for insurance, do a Google search for: 'skin care liability insurance'

That should give you at least a running start. Best of luck if you do, it can be a difficult task to say the least.
