more questions...products GM Collin vs IMAGE

I have been using GM Collin for over 2 years,but never opened an account with them,always bought thru another esthetician. Now that I want to open an account they surprised me with a start up cost of $3,000. I was very dissapointted. i have spent to much on this business already.

I have been advised by others estheticians to try IMAGE,because they dont have minimal fees. Any words on this line?

I need a line good with home care and acne,would this line acomplish that?

Thanks again

I love PCASkin.Very user friendly and treatment oriented No minimim startup fees or minimum order fees when you reorder. Excellent support staff and training as well. I cannot say enough about PCA

PCA Skin would be perfect for you!  Not only are the products cost effective for both you and the clients, they are also exceptional products!  You should be able to find everything that you need from chemical peels, acne treatments, pigment treatments, products for men and even oncology skin care.  You do however need to complete course training to recieve certification, before you would be eligible to order products.

Hi Jeannette,

I use Image and love it! I looked into using GM Collins; their rep, Tony, is great and so is their  product, but opening an account is too expensive. I found the rep for Image, in my area, to be very good and I receive my products in a timely fashion.  You can order as much or as little as you wish without having to open an acccount by  purchasing alot of products.  Jeanette-Marie

I use Image and like their products. Their customer service needs much improvement and delivery is very slow.

It is so hard to choose a line, I feel for you.

Here are some thoughts and the guidelines I have used in the past for choosing a line;

Is it a professional only line (does it have pro only products, protocols, training)

What is the cost of doing the facial (i do not like to go above 10% of the service charge for good profits, what is the opening order cost)

Would I or my clients buy the product at the suppested retail price?

Do the products provide results by respecting the structure and function of the skin (i believe that if the physiology of the skin is supported on a daily basis, we can get some amazing results in the treatment room and add more proven performance ingredients as needed. )

What is the performance ingredient delivery system? (if they make claims of improvement of the skin we know due to skin physiology that we must have a carrier or delivery system to get the ingredient to the lower layers of the epidermis-i stay away from nanotechnology. we still do not know the ramifications. )

Just some thoughts. good luck. Feel free to message me with your questions I will be happy to help. We have a group call NW estheticians that will be discussing things like this if you want to join. You dont have to live up here to get into the conversation.
