Hi Terri,

I have no experience with Allied..sorry. I'm going to assume that ASCP should have everyhting you need as far as coverage. I pay the extra for my equipment because I travel doing demos and workshops and I want to be covered just in case. Give a call to their office. They are so wonderful to work with!!

Hi Shelley,

I am opening my clinic the end of February.  I already have some liability insurance through ASCP.  I am looking at additional coverage through Allied,  have you dealt with them at all?    Also I am looking into insurance for my equipment and I was thinking about going through ASCP for that as well,  the 25k coverage for $250 a year.   Any advice you could share would be much appreciated.  Thank you for your time.     Terri Owsley

HI Gina...You'll have to ask a rep from ASCP regarding lash tinting. It's probably different from State to State. I have found ASCP to be the most comprehensive as far as coverage goes...you can't go wrong with them!!!

Does ASCP cover Lash Tinting on Ohio?

Are there any exclusions I need to be aware of before signing up for coverage??

Thank you!!

I definately agree with you Shelley!  With ASCP you can get general liability, personal property and additional insured. This is especially needed if you are renting your space or work for yourself. Dont assume the person your work for or rent from is covering you. That is our responsiblilty to cover all posibilities! Dont assume andy equiptment you use is covered or acceptable within our scope of practice either. Each state may have a different policy in this regard so research for yourself first before you make the purchase to be sure you are covered (even if the one selling it to you says it is.) it may not be! Ive been a member since 2004 and Katie and her staff are always there to answer any questions Ive had.

I am with you Shelly.  I love the fact that ASCP knows what aestheticians needs and wants.  They are at all trade shows and more importantly they are involved in the Aesthetics/Cosmetology Educational Seminars.  This is the type of company that goes out of their way to know their clients needs.  I was despartly looking for an insurance company that would cover dermaplaning for aestheticians for the state of Arizona.  Working with Katie made it possible.  Kudos to ASCP and Katie.
