I can t seem to find anything local for training do any of you have any ideas as far as books or videos? Also I notice that extras are offered by some esti as far and lip treatments and eye treatments, where do you learn these. I feel I should have learned this stuff in school but did'nt so I need to try and pick things up on my own. Thanks so much!

What state are you in ?? Check to see if there is an IDI location near you - International Dermal Institute . They offer a ton of post graduate classes for the esthetician. I love their product line and they are an amazing resource for education. You can also view many 'webinars' on line through various companies.
As well as all the great suggestions above, we have a ton of free webinars for ASCP members, which you can find by logging into the member area at www.ascpskincare.com. There are 1-2 new ones added each month.
