BRAZILLIANS....HELP!
I worked in a salon that only used hard wax for entire area...Then I have been working on my own....a girl that goes to a master waxer (5-6 min brazillian) said her esty used strip wax for the entire area...no hard wax....and would put first alcohol all over then powder....
I feel like I am bound to rip someones skin off if I did it this way!!!....Ive used Lycon-I found it to be brittle....hard to work with (but my fellow estys who worked at same spa I used to thinks it is the absolute best....
I am using Caron wax....It is super flexible hard (stripless) wax, but for the life of me will NOT get the hair up!!! What is going on!!! HELP! I really want to get this down!! That wax was the "best" wax too!! WTH..........
One girl I did for free...someone who wasn't really close to me..said she was rashed out after...but that might not be my doing....Whenever I use the stripless it seems more painful, and whenever I use soft w strips it seems like I may rip skin off....
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE AWESOME...

HI! I have recently started doing Brazilian waxing and I use strip wax, Amber Rose Wax to be specific and its wonderful! Very gentle and is easily removed with wax remover. I just cleanse the area with a toner and begin waxing. As long as you apply the wax and remove the wax in the appropriate manner and hold the skin taut throughout your service you will not rip skin off. I hope this helps! :)

I don't know anything about Caron wax. Is the hair dry, do you go back/forth to enrove, is the room too hot, wax too cold, can't think of any more reasons at this moment.
I started out using several different brands but for two yrs have been using beriodin's blue beads hard wax, with a tiny bit of oil-love it. (and their "ease for soft") buy thru Lori Nestore, the wax queen. My clients like it better than strip wax that's been used at other places.

Thanks to both of you...always up for more info!! So Taylor-you like the Amber rose....its a strip wax? And it gets short, coarse hair up?
And the room is just right...I go back and forth with hard wax so it really shrink wraps...maybe wax isnt not the just right temp....the video it comes with tells me to put the hard wax on going AGAINST the growth and pull the way the hair grows...like putting it on going up toward the armpits....this DID NOT work.....Ive tried with a lil oil, with no oil with the hard wax (stripless)....Thanks Deborah! The thing I really like about hard wax is you can go over an area more than once....but I don't want to have to!!

I have used Lycon and found you have to use the oil a lot. If you don't it is brittle and won't come off. I don't know anything about Caron wax. The Berodin wax That Deborah is talking about is fantastic. It doesn't require that much oil, but you do need to use it. I love that wax. Cerapil is questionable for me. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it is brittle too.
I personally don't like using soft wax for Brazilians. Hard wax is the way to go for me.

Hi! I use strip wax only since I find the "set up" time for hard wax in the folds rather uncomfortable. The strip wax is easy. I put oil down before I wax. Most edgy' s find this crazy but it work an I have. Huge following.

Yes. I use the cleansing oil but not very much. I use Hugo wax the titanium and I have tried to us g at waxes but I'm not so good with it. :(

Hi Amy with your strip wax you use oil, which strip wax do u use, I have been using strip (Gigi) chocolate, for years for my brazilian and it has worked well, however, it does hurt, I have trying now for months ceripil, berodin, and lycon all three have something I like and dislike. is soooo hard trying to fine a hard wax that does it all, berodin works well removing hair but still hurts a little, ceripil hurTs less but does not remove small hairs, lycon is great for short hair but like you said is brittle I need to keep remembering to add oil, now I hve not practiced hard wax on brows yet that is another task,....so I have decided to use both hard n soft waxes, only because we should be trained as esti on both , our clients seem to learn about both and we should be prepared, but omg this is hard work!

I haven't tried the chocolate. It is hard work! Lol the oil makes it much less painful!
