Cleaning and disinfecting

Hi I am wondering what everyone uses to clean their facial brushes before they soak them in disinfectant and what disinfectant they use???

You're better off using professional brush cleaner and disinfecting in a UV light sanitizer. Liquid disinfectant will just kill your brushes. :(

That is exactly what i am running into. my brushes are looking terrible! what professional brush cleaner do you use?

I use brush cleaner, then disinfect in barbicide for the recommened time then rinse, pat dry and place in uv sterilizer. :)

My job doesn't stock professional brush cleaner, so I disinfect my brushes with antibacterial Dawn dish soap, dry them thoroughly, spray them with 70% alcohol, then place then in a UV sanitizer. My brushes are looking much less beat up than those of my co-workers! haha  :)
