I read an article about Fanny/Brazilian Facials. That sounded really interesting. but of course they didn't state what their steps were. Does anyone currently provide these?! if so can you please send me what types your do? and how much you charge for a service like that? Thank you!

I must have read the same article that you did. I do not currently do them, however, I think that they are a great idea. Its strange because I do NOT currently, nor will I ever do Brazilians. During my training one of my absolute favorite treatments to perform were back facials. The behind just adds a few inches to what I would already be doing. Cleanse, exfoliation, (for the purpose of keeping it clinical I would exclude the massage) mask, and moisturizer. Summer is here and the tush is showing no signs of loosing its place as body part of the moment. Its  really a matter of professionalism and decorum. Your providing a service that someone wants. I would skip the cutesy gimmicky descriptions and names though.

I do provide Brazillians as a service for my employer and I do  Brazillians and  Manzillians out of my home for family and friends only,   You may want to include that as a service as it is easy and a good money maker.  Expand your knowledge!!!

Patricia,

I am not sure what you mean by saying "Expand your Knowledge." I am very well trained and educated in waxing. Just like not every treatment is for every client not every service is for every provider. Brazilian waxing is considered a valuable service for many, and to those who enjoy receiving them I am happy to recommend other practitioners who are happy to perform them. You don't know me and you certainly have zero knowledge of my skill set, which by the way is thorough and growing every day.  This forum is for the exchange of ideas and techniques, not snarky comments or personal opinions. Three exclamation marks really?

Wow! You totally took this the wrong way.  So sorry!

Thank you for your clarification. Now that I reread my response it was stronger than it needed to be. My apologies.

No worries.  I have taken two classes on Brazilian / Manzilian  from Stephanie  @  Se Brazil plus I have her Brazilian DVD.  She teaches on line as well and is absolutely the most knowledgeable instructor  and she makes it all fun.     Respectfuly.

I perform Brazilian waxing and I'm adding this service to my menu. I guess the protocol would be almost equivalent to doing a regular facial but I'd be mindful of draping down there. I won't give away specifics, but make sure it's something you're comfortable with. Depending on the type of products and amount of time you spend on the service, price range can be anywhere between $45-$100 beginning from a half-hour session. This is including extractions (pores already dilated; in-grown hairs easy to purge). This is a great opportunity to solicit proper home care and reeducating the customer about regular visits as well as diligent upkeep.

Hi Rachel

When you ask Fanny/Brazilian I have to ask first...Fanny as in the UK terminology of ( female bits ) or the US terminology of the bum ?

I do provide Bum, Rear, or Booty facials, but do not provide female bits facials ( waxing, yes, but facials no )

The bum facials are good for summer or humid areas as people tend to get acne there just like the back..

Prices vary dependant on the clients needs  but begin at 50+
