In regards to the facial incorporation, yes you can.
I offer the microdermabrasion as a treatment of it's own or as an add on to a facial. I charge half the charge of the full microdermabrasion when it's added to a facial.
stacy where do you practice your estethics???Here inNew York???
Actually, I'm at the complete opposite end of the states in Hawaii.
I do the microdermabrasion instead of your regular exfoliation or If you have a mild exfoliant like an enzyme exfoliant, you can do that with steam and then use your microdermabrasion afterwards followed by extractions. Then finish your facial like normal with whatevery you do, ie. toner, ampoule, mask, moisturizer. Personally, I do microdermabrasions immediately after glycolic or lactic peels also, but you should follow the product line's recommendations. Some peels say not to do Microdermabrasion and some say it's ok. Check with your manufacturer. There was a webinar I attended that talked about peels and when to do Microdermabrasion. You should check it out. It's in the ascp website under webinars. It's called "Exfoliation Expertise" and it was presented 1/17/2010. I just verified it and you can view the entire webinar and also the webinar notes and FAQ'a that were asked after the webinar.
