Hi!

I have a muitlifunction 8 in 1 system right now.  I think my steamer just kicked the bucket but the rest of the machine works.  I can buy a steamer on the stand for like $130 but I do not have all the extra room in my place on top of the 8 in 1 machine.  I saw amazon sells tabletop steamers for around $50 with shipping.  Anyone use these??  It also says can splurt out hot drips that could burn clients face which made me soo nervous!  However, I wonder if all steamers say that because it was saying just to place it back the 12-14 inches.  Anyone have a tabletop steamer?  If so which brand and do you like it??  Thanks!!

thanks again for all the info!! =)

I bought a small table top steamer and the arm was so short that I could never get an even stream of steam over anyone's face. Went back to my old larger steamer with a long arm.

I was worried about that Shelley! =/ Thanks!

Nina, I bought the secura brand steamer, but have no used it yet. Can u tell me how long the steamer works for? it looks so small, I do not know if I am going to keep it. :(

The steam lasts for about 10 minutes on mine, cool steam lasts a bit longer, however if you keep filling it up before it runs out of water, just as any steamer, it'll last longer by not automatically shutting off. And yes, it's small, all table top steamers are pretty small, they are all about the size of the Secura, so they can fit on a table. If anything let it run one time and see if ya like it, if not you can always return it. I don't know your room situation, but if you're just tight on space in general, and the table top steamer doesn't do it for you, you can always get a full sized steamer and then a utility cart that has the option of connecting your mag lamp to it (that's what I have now) this frees up a lot of space by getting rid of the mag lamp base...let me know if you have any another questions I will do my best to help!

Thanks so much. No, not tight on space. I have a full size steamer for home, just wanted to know if this will last with enough steam for mobile facials. Seems like it will do. One person on amazon said steam only lasts 4 minutes. Thats just too short of a time.. Thanks again!
