Dr. James E. Fulton, MD passed away
It is with great sadness that I tell you of the passing of Dr. James Fulton. For those of you who don't know who he is, he was integral in doing the acne research that my formed my acne protocol. He was the co-developer of Retin A and of water-based benzoyl peroxide for acne. He invented vitamin a propionate which is a potent non-prescription retinyl that non-medical professionals can use. He was truly the esthetician's best friend. His research is legendary in the skin care and dermatology world and he will be missed. We all a great debt of gratitude to him. R.I.P.

I felt very sad when the news came out recently.
I found his book, his lectures and his manner educational, passionate and friendly.
He will be very missed. A lot of people benefited from his great knowledge and protocols for treating acne. He has a webinar on the ASCP website.
That he was so willing to share his expertise made many of us much better at understanding and working with our clients with acne skin concerns.
