It takes about 3 to 4 months; sometimes longer for noninflamed acne.

@Paulette - I use my own line.  For the inflamed acne, I used a combination of mandelic serum (anti-inflammatory) and benzoyl peroxide (both used in the correct way).  For the noninflamed client, I used a combination of vitamin a propionate and benzoyl peroxide (again, used in the right way). 

For treatments, I used a peel blend consisting of tca, mandelic, lactic, kojic and azelaic acids. 

And, there is so much more to getting results with acne than just the products/treatments.  There are all kinds of lifestyle issues to consider.
