Using Facebook

I have created a page for my skin care on Facebook and regularly share it on my personal page, along with appt time available, and specials. I have found I got about 10-15% of my clientele this way. What other 'free' forms of advertising are out there? I work for a large corporation, so I'm limited in the specials and discounts I can offer. They do give us alot of coupons to use, which helps. But I would eventually like to start seeing people at the full price. Has Facebook worked for others? How do you get your page to more than just your friends list? I've asked my friends to share it, but only a few claim to know how to do that. I would love to get my page out there to alot of the area I live in.

How did you set your skin care page up on Facebook? Is it under a fan page, public figure? I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but am unsure how to set-up.

Hi Jodi,

I'll be attending an "invite only" presentation at the Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto CA on Wednesday, Sept 28th...I have many of the same questions as you asked above. I'll be bringing my laptop as this is going to be a very "hands on" presentation. I really want to attract new clients through FB but also don't want to spend much more $ this year in advertising.

I'll share what I learn with you all-hopefully it's solid information that can help us all.
