I'm with Vanessa! It sounds great and I would love to do something similar here in the North San Francisco Bay area. Maybe you could reach out to esthi's in your area that are part of networking groups --- chamber of commerce, bni, partners for leads, etc.
Michelle, I have a group on here called skINdiana :D So far, there are only 3 of us! But I'm trying to build that up. I just didn't know where to start. Glad to have you on board!!! :D
Hi Amy, I think that sounds like a great idea! I too am in Indiana, and would love to get together to talk shop with a group of Esty's. It would be so energizing! I was an instructor for 5 years in Noblesville, so I still have a lot of connections with former students in the industry. Perhaps starting an Indiana group on here would be a good first step. Let me know if you would like help getting a group together!
Soooo...I'm interested in starting a group in which Esty's in Indiana (or any for that matter) get together about 4 times a year for Lunch and talk shop. But, I am on the fence about WHERE to start? How do I get in contact with local Esty's? Any Ideas out there?
Thanks so much. I have already joined her page and I have done most of the stuff on her program already.
I also recommend you to check her FB page The Esthetician Mentor.
Wendy Robin and Amy Sherman, my best advice is to get enrolled in one of the courses of Lori Crete "The Esthetician Mentor", I started my first one 1 year ago and I have been in 2 more since then. I definitely can say not only my business has grown, but myself as a better, optimistic, positive and happier person. Immediately you register you get enrolled to participate in a closed FB group of amazing Estheticians where you can ask/share everything that affects you and your business and at the end of the course you still enrolled in the group. She's going to start one course this Monday, Sept.9th. you're just in time to get in! Here is the link www.success-esthetician.com
I have just returned to work from taking two years off for maternity leave. The early that took over from me started spreading rumors about me and I'm also in a massage center with very little publicity. Does anyone have ideas about how to market myself? I also need help with my menus. Right now I have three facials and waxing services. Any ideas?
I am restarting my treatment room in a doctors office in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and I need some advice on building my Clientele up. Approx. 6 months ago I started a skin treatment room but unfortunately illness caused me to abandon it for several months while I was in the States. But during the short months I was working the local community did not know exactly what Estheticians do. I need some ideas to open you their minds :)
