I just switched my software over to vagaro and noticed they have a point system you can do to reward the client with free services, etc. Does anybody do this? Does this then take away from your monthly promotions.
And how do you have yours set up.
I saw a spa that used 100p =1.00
New Referrals = 2000p = 20.00
Retail purchases =5p = 1.00
Also how many points would you give a facial service or waxing service?
Hi Jackie, our spa takes the points at the end of the year and creates a VIP system. $1= 1 Point. For example clients who have 1,000 - 1,500 points get 5% off their services for the following year, 1,501-2,000 points get 10%, 2,001-3,000 get 15%. If you are a "VIP" and there is a promotion you can choose to use the VIP discount or the promotion, NOT both. It is up to you what amount of points get what discount, we based it on the premise that if a client comes for a facial every 6 weeks and spends on average $120 that is where the lowest discount starts - Its almost like being a frequent flier with the airlines, the more they spend in 2011 the more they will save in 2012. Hope this inspires you to create your own discount system!
