Hello!! This is my first time on here. Need help in figuring out my book keeping. What is a great recommendation for appt. book that would also keep expenses, etc. What do we need to keep track of for tax purposes and what is the best way to do so....without having to invest in a financial program? I have tried excel but what to track? Income for services, retail cost and sales, ????? Thanks!!
Sayra,
An article I read suggested raising prices towards the middle of the year, avoiding price raising around the winter holiday season and the first of the new year, when people may be feeling more price-sensitive.
Looking for information on when it is a good season to raise my prices. Anyone with some advice?
I think this is a great insider connection!!! Awesome!
Perfect! Thank you! I will look in to it.
I graduated last summer and have been working for a spa for almost 1 yr now. I am getting closer to starting my own business. Does anyone know of/or have any advice on business plan templates and/or financial tracking systems to use that are MAC compatible?
Hi Claire You really just need to get those samples out thee and go to business's and talk to the owners about putting your line in there stores give them a few samples first maybe and ask them to try them and then tell them you will check back with them say next week to see how they liked them and if it is something they would carry in the store the more people who try them can talk about them Also maybe have some kind of party like an open house thing maybe at a girl friends house she can host it and in return get products. Hope this helps some .good luck
Oh are you my twin! Of course it is!! You can triple what you make with one client as an Esty! I love Massage but I always try to bridge the client over to become a Skin care client as well! We both thus benefit! Go get those clients girl!
I'm a massage therapist and new esty, I'm also African American. I started my own business and was wondering is the field of esty, profitable for me to break into.
