Hello Melinda,

Just wanted to let you know that ASCP hosted a webinar on social medial for spa professionals presented by Lisanne Wilcox, that you might like to watch for some tips! Just go to www.ascpskincare.com, log in, click on webinars, then on the title! Also, Annette King did a great one on Generating public relations and buzz for your Business- that might be helpful too!

Make sure you add the 'like' button to your website for Facebook too!

Have FUN!

Hi,

I have worked with ascp in the past and love the organization.  We moved from Florida 2 years ago and are thrilled with being in Colorado.  My wife and I own Restorations Wellness Center & Spa in Denver, and I also work with all types of anti-aging equipment for the industry.

I want to say Hi to all in CO, and hope I can be a part of some of these discussions.

I have been on the advisory board to two schools in Florida, and think I can add a bit here and there.

Thanks

It's not a bad idea to begin working at a spa until you gain real-world experience for a bit. If you're wanting to open your own place eventually, it will help build your confidence, without having to worry about all the potentially stressful business building aspects right off the bat. Keep us posted!
