Welcome Laura, congrats on your impending graduation! Pamela's suggestion is good- I would also add just keep learning- do as much continuing education in any form that you can. You can always improve pick up new tips/techniques etc. Ask a lot of questions and learn from other's mistakes. Enjoy what you do and always give your best and you'll find success :)

Welcome Laura!  First of all, congratulations on your graduation.  My advise is to find your passion and specialize in it.  We can't be the best at everything we do, but if you become the best at one thing you do people will come to you for it and keep coming.  Find a good product line not everyone else has, and that will keep you ahead of the competition out there too in your area.  I grew up in Arvada, graduated in the 80s and I love that town.  It has changed a lot through the years!  Are you going to work for a spa somewhere in Arvada?

Hi! I'm currently a student at the College of Intl Esthetics in Arvada and will be graduating in about a month.  Any advice for someone new to this industry? Thanks!

We'd love to meet you when you're in Denver! Yes, I think it's important that we network together as well and hopefully we can facilitate that with the meetup group and networking together here on line!

Hello, Kirsten:  Thanks for starting this group.  I have my own business in Pueblo, Co, Skin Renew.  I started the grop Oncology Esthetics.  Anyway, I am in Denver fairly frequently so I will be watching for and info on get togethers.  Would like CO Estheticians to be more connected and supportive of our profession.  Thanks!  Joy
