Why not just do and 860 course?

Comment by Chere McCoy on May 6, 2012 at 8:48pm

Why are they doing the 600 hour advanced?  this is puzzling as most states require more than 860 hours - could someone clarify this?

Kristen. IRSC. Fort pierce. The new session starts may 8. Then in fall there will be a brand new 600 hour advanced esthetics program, (pre requisite being the basic 260 hour course. ) much better than Alpha.

Workshop:   I will be giving an Aromatherapy, Tea, and Facial workshop in November (exact date not set) at Spark of Divine, 1789 Old dixie Hiwy, Vero Beach, Fl 32960.  It will last 2 - 3 hours and will be a hands on Workshop for Licensed Esthetician.  Lay people will also be in attendance.  Cost to be determined but I will keep it very affordable (probably $25)  Professionals should bring their portable tables.  More on this later.

Your welcome Kristine.

Thank Chere, that's good info.  Alpha is extremely expensive and I do have the phone number for IRSC's classes.  Thanks again for the head's up.

KRISTINE.   Do not attend Alpha you will waste your money.  There is a perfectly good College where you will learn more and spend much less money.   Indian River State College.   Be sure and google it.   They may have already started the summer Esty class, but you may be able to get in the Fall Semester or Winter semester and not only will you get a better education - it won't kill your pocketbook

Hi everyone!  I'm an esthetician in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Anybody else practicing here?

Hi everyone!

I'm an aesthetician and electrologist in south florida. Wanted to share with you that back in november I was introduced to NYR Organic, a company from England that carries Certified Organic products. The products are excellent, my customers love them. Has anyone heard of them, company has only been in the US since 2009. Very inexpensive to join. If you'd like to learn more visit www.us.nyrorganic.com/shop/head2soul or give me a call, I'll be happy to help or answer any questions 954-655-2828.

Hello my name is Lauren and I am a estheician student at FCNH. I am wondering if it is worth taking our Paramedical program/medical esthetics. I am currently signed up to be dual licensed for massage and skin, and currently hold a cosmetology license. Any help. Please
