All good advice! Jackie, don't worry you will get it, just remember Image products are VERY strong. The acne products are so strong that I won't sell them to people unless I see their skin first. I don't usually give the mask to teens because I worry they might use it as a spot treatment and get burned. Just give very specific instructions to anyone buying the mask, they MUST remove it. I agree with all the other products recommended. Good luck!

@Gina,  Okay so I will have her alternate with the Ormedic Cleanser, and at night does she use the Biopeptide Cream with the Acne Lotion or alternate that too.  Thanks Gina,

Okay Yikes, I am so confused. Why do we hand out the kits if they can't use it. I started on the ageless kit and after a week I was on fire. I had no idea I couldn't use all the products as stated on the back cover. So now should I even be handing out the kits or take them all apart and hand out what I think she should start out with and customized as she goes along until we figure out what her skin can handle, then sell her the retail size. Thanks ladies I hope it doesn't take me very long to get a handle on this line.

Jackie, that masque can definitely be too much if used improperly. I agree with Gina on this, I would have her use it only 1 time per week and only on her problem areas. Any more than that and it will be too much. If she is not able to use it even that much, I would suggest switching her to the total resurfacing masque.

For my peels, I let my clients know that I only do them in a series because this is the best way they are going to see some results. The only one that I will do as a stand alone service is the Signature Facelift. When I do a series of peels, I give my clients the option to pay per treatment, as a lot of them may not be able to drop a few hundred dollars at one time. I do a free consultation where we discuss in detail the benefits and proper care, they know up front that they will be required to purchase a post treatment kit with every peel and we take before and after photos to guarantee they will see results. I also have a private room in an upscale salon and I have not had any trouble doing clinical facials and peels. I do offer a pampering hot stone facial, but my clinical treatments are much more popular. Just remember that these people are getting work done somewhere, so they might as well save themselves a trip and get their skin in good health when they update their hair color! Also I just wanted to tell you not to give up on peels, they are in demand, you just have to have the right people. Consider doing a Groupon or similar special, that will expose you and your services to plenty of people that may not even know you are there. Good luck!

Hi Diane.  For your clients with very, very dry skin...will you please let me know which products they LOVE and which Daily Defense.  My mother just drinks up any and all lotions and she did not care for the Daily Defense SPF 35 - felt it was too drying.  I have her on Ormedic right now.  She cannot tolerate the Ageless Repair Cream - I have had her try every third night, applying Aquaphor on top. Oremedic on top...but her skin just really dries out.  I told her, her skin needs to adapt slowly, but she is too impatient.  It took me 6 months to pull her away from her Kiehl's, which really helped her dryness, but there are no active ingredients in it at all for $50.  My mom is 64.  Does the client you mention have dry skin?  Thanks for your help!

Joanne, I live in Palm Beach County, so I'll be driving back and forth both days.  Maybe we'll run into each other at the Image booth.  Plan to watch most of their demos on peels and of course, buy products.

Melinda, thanks for the recommendations.  Most of my clients are 60+, so I rarely deal with acne issues.  The client I had referred to isn't all that sensitive.  I think a lot of her problems are coming from within - under a lot of stress with family members being ill,  smoking, but trying to cut down and eventually quit, lose weight.  After having her son, her hormones went out of whack.  She is now trying to focus on herself and she is open to having her facials regularly and get on a homecare regime, which she has only been using soap & water for quite some time.  I look forward to helping her get her skin in good condition and helping her feel better about herself.

Hello -I just ordered the Clear Cell mask for myself, as it said it is good for acne and sun damaged skin.  I have yet to try it.  I was using the Clear Cell salicylic pads on the areas where I break out and have blackheads (nose area, chin, spots on my forehead).  Although my skin can be sensitive, because I have used Retin A, glycolic acids, BHAs in products and peels over the years, the pads are just way too much.  It really, really burns.  I'm just using the pads to spot treat right now, but there is know way I will take a pad and wipe it all over my face (42, Fitz II, very oily).  The sides of my nostril area gets so red and painful, but this is where my skin really clogs up.  After reading your comments and about your customers' experiences with the mask, does it really seem fit that the Clear Cell mask could be used on sun damaged skin?  I am still a student and am somewhat new to the Image line...I use my friends and family members...myself, too!...as guinea pigs to see how their skin likes/tolerates products.  How do any of you or your clients like the Daily Defense Matte?  It feels kind of sticky on my skin but I love how it feels going on.  Thank you for your help and if you can recommend anything else to try out.

p.s. tell her to only leave the masque on for 2-5 minutes MAX.

the masque can burn- as in get HOT. she probably needs to use it only 1x/week- and perhaps only in problematic areas, as Danielle said. She definitely should be using the hydrating serum along with the clear cell regime and put her on the Ormedic cleanser to alternate w/the Clear Cell cleanser. The Ormedic Biopeptide Creme is excellent to use at night as well alongside Clear Cell. I have very acneic skin and this has worked wonderfully for me- as well as for a friend's 15 yr old son who is prone to breakouts and dryness. The ACE serum would also be good to boost hydration. She is probably being too aggressive with the products at home- people who break out tend to do that trying to attack the problem. Tell her to spread out the more active products.
