okay all, getting ready to do a my first series. Please check this protocol to see if I need to tweek it.  Here is the scenario.

Fitz 3, pre peel 2weeks

Homecare

Day Total Facial Cleanser, Total Skin Bleaching Serum, Matt spf

Night, Total Facial Cleanser, Total anti aging serum, max cream

Mask, resurfacing mask 2 times per week

Using the Glycolic/Salicylic Peel for advanced Milia

Any advice with the peel, I have done peels before and will do this one on me first before I do hers. But just a little nervous.

Also I bought the peel DVD and so not happy with it. They didn't even go over the acne lift peel.  If it's a training video they need to show more in depth procedures and outcomes.  It would be nice to see the real skintype being treated and not just an educators skin. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks all.

I would definitely get your aging client on the Max and Vital-C products. She needs the hydration/peptides to plump her skin. Perhaps a series of the Wrinkle Lift if she can tolerate them, or the Signature.

Absolutely retinol-a! Add hyaluronic acid to pair with it- usage only 2-3x/wk. Ormedic cleanser and perhaps biopeptide creme for nighttime.

Hi Ladies, thanks so much for all the help with this line. I really appreciate it. So here is my question. I have a girl who seems to be a fitz 1 wanting the retinol a cream. She does have some mild acne and scarring around her chin. But mainly she wants it for anti aging. She is only 22. What do you think I should do with her.

Jackie-Start with your 4 Starter products. Depending on her skin type for an aging client you could suggest:

Hyd. Facial Cleanser, Max Serum. Ultimate Spf, and then either Total Retinol-A or Total repair used 1-2x/wk in the PM.

Hyd.Facial Cleanser, Total-Antiage Serum, Hyd Spf. Max Creme-Boost with Retinol Creme 1-2x/week for a month and build up use if tolerated.

Balancing Cleanser, Hyd Antiage serum mixed with lightening serum, Tinted Spf. and Hyd repair. Add Total Antiage everyother night under creme

The options are limitless. Ask her what she likes/dislikes about IS clinicals. Look them up it is good to be familiar with you competition as far as products go. You can then offer comparable or better!

Oh thanks Ladies, I think I am starting to feel better now. I just want to have lots of success with this line and be confident in what I recommend. I just sold my first products yesterday. Her mom is coming next week, I am sure I can convert her too but she is in her 70's and has that extreme aging skin. She uses ISClinical now. I suppose this line has acids I think. But there again don't want to start her off to strong.  OH and when do you add in the Retinol in to the program?

As we can see, there is more than one way to skin a cat- and treat our clients' skin! :-) thats whats great about Image- such great customization to give our clients great skin.

The Signature Facelift is great for a first time client.  I then give them a few Ageless products to get their skin prepped and see them in 2 weeks for their first peel.  I do however, use the Lactic Kojic peel on first time peel clients even if it is there first treatment.  Just checking for erythema/activity level and not leaving it on longer than the recommended 2 minutes.

Image is all about customization.  It isn't necessary to be on all clear cell or Ageless.  Think of what ingredients their particular skin needs, then mix and match.  I break the kits up and have cute little bags to put them in and then just make a prescription pad on how to use.  This is what we are here for to recommend, educate, and instruct how to use.  It will all click with this line in due time I promise!  Use the grid at the back of the catalog for a reference guide when starting out.  Every skin type and condition is listed to help you get started.

I will have a really oily or acneic client use the CC mask 2x/wk, but only for 2-3 then rinse.  It is all about balance.

Ok here is what my rep said to do, for my acne client that is not tolerating the kit, Stay on the sal. cleanser, then swipe with acne tonic, use they hylauronic acid, vital c  anti aging serum. So It looks like if they have acne we should start them out with only 1 or 2 products on the CC line and rest hydrating. I hope this works.
