Hi I want to offer my clients plastic gift cards for the holidays but I do not have a reader to scan and "fill" I use Square up and they do not offer this service. Does anyone know of a company (that is affordable) who can provide this I (do not want to get a cc machine). Thanks

Thanks Andrea! I am new to all of this and just distributed the fliers to schools today so I am praying for phone calls soon :). I think for next year I may mail out the flyers to schools to cover more area.

I just drove to all of the local schools and dropped off flyers for teacher appreciation week. I did a $25 off any reg priced facial service of $65 or more. I also said they had to book their first appointment by May 12 to obtain this offer and that if they did that, they could use this offer all summer long until Aug 31. I like your idea about doing the raffle, maybe you could say all teachers that book their appointment by X date will be entered into a drawing to win a free facial. Maybe offer a small discounted amount off too for a period of time. The reason I extended past teachers week is because I know most teachers work during the day so would be hard to get them in for appts and wanted to give them a fair shot at getting the discount. Let us know what you end up doing Kimberly.

I own a small boutique spa in Calif. I recently did groupon with good results. But email contact and a referral program as well as word of mouth are probably the best way to go.
