@Kellie - We've got a pretty good one. Email Patti and she'll give it to you.   I didn't include it on the DVD since it's not really considered acne.

I am looking for a successful protocol and products for treating Rosacea. What is everyone doing that works?

I have many clients who have Rosacea, and look forward to connecting with others who treat this condition!

Dr Ben Johnson is the doctor who created Osmosis Skin Care line.  I have been amazed at the results using Stem Factor and Catalyst, primarily on my sun damage.   I saw his video on rosacea the other day and was interested in his approach.  The vitamin A he uses is Retinaldehyde, a much gentler form while at the same time it is more readily utilized by the skin.  Thought you might like to see it.  It is at the bottom of the page under skin condition videos: http://www.osmosisskincare.com/VideoLibrary.aspx

That is so interesting!

@Gina - those are chemical sunscreens like avobenzone.  The reason you don't want to use those is because they absorb heat which is what you don't want with rosacea; unlike zinc and titanium dioxide that deflect/block the heat.

what about octisalate and octocrylene?

I've had some really good luck with rosacea using salicylic serum and low-dose bpo. Here are some of my before and after pics:

I always give them a list of triggers, like spicy foods, alcohol, sun, extreme heat and cold, etc.

You always want to use a zinc-based sunscreen (not avobenzone) and a gentle cleanser with rosacea clients.
