Can someone explain the difference between PCA and skin script if you have had experience with both lines? I'm debating on which line to go with, any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!!

I was wondering the same thing.  :)

I just attended the PCA product seminar.  They have really great peels that propose no down time or as I call them "the uglies".  Their after peel products are also really good.  For my clientele, the retail price point on basics (cleanser, toner, etc) are a little high.  However, no one has the extensive line of enzymes that Skin Script's has or that is as effective.  I had, at one time, my favorite enzyme for everyone! It was phenonomal!  The lab that I was buying it from discontinued it. : (  So I went on a journey to find an enzyme to replace it.  Every lab or manufacurer may have one or two, but not as much of a choice of ingredients and skin conditions and certainly nothing as fun to work with and as result oriented as SS.  Still, not one as great as the one I had, (sorry SS) but, definitely as wonderful!  And that's my comparison. experience

Hi All:

PCA is a great skin care line and is highly respect by me.  Since neither company has minimums, you might choose a little of both.  (I think I'm correct that PCA doesn't have minimums).  The bottom line for me is, comes to Skin Script when you want some amazing enzymes that can be as gentle or aggressive as you want to make them.  Go to PCA when you want stronger peels.  I see PCA as a leader in peels, come to me when you want enzymes.

I hope this helps.  Thanks for considering Skin Script!  Lisa

Thank you Lisa and Paulette.....I have worked with SS at work and recently made a purchase for my own use.  I am in the middle of moving to another salon and am working with the owner to decide what line we are going to use and SS and PCA are the top runners.  I will definitely share your insight/experiences and can't wait until the training on the 22nd! :)

Thank you!

Thank you so much! I think that is great advice to use them both for different needs. I'll be placing an order with both soon! So many choices, it becomes overwhelming:) I'm also interested in trying Image, I hear a lot about their HA serum. I tried YG labs, but I'm not able to keep up w the minimum order of $200. Thanks again!!

I have attended trainings for both lines and have used them in the treatment room. I like pca for peels but hands down skin scripts's is my favorite for homecare and facials. All of my clients love the homecare and everything smells good but not like perfume. I found the pca homecare to smell to medical and when i tried it on myself it was to harsh and i had a hard time selling a product that i did nt use myself. I also like that skin script s only charges $5.00 for shipping no matter how big or small my order is. This is a big plus for me since i am independent and do not keep a lot of stock. Skin script s also offersa lot of free trainings and webinars. I could go on and on about them as it is my favorite line!

Summerr - you made my day.  Thank you so much for your nice comments.  :)  Education is so important to me and I'm happy to share it.

Thank you Lisa your products are amazing and I truly appreciate the education and support you offer!
Thank you Summer for sharing this. I just received my samples this week can't wait to try them. I'm blown away with the variety. The $5 shipping is a HUGE selling point as shipping adds a lot to the final cost of treatments. Also their protocol/training manual is very impressive. I am looking to find a new line after I finish what I have. (I made a mistake and bought a lot of another line when I was in school since I got a great deal on it)
No problem Renee! Let me know if you have any questions or need any help with the products. You can email me at glamskin1@gmail.com

Does anyone have information how to get connected with PCA, in terms of setting up an account? I'm on their website, not seeing anything where professionals can inquire about information. I'm looking mainly for peels.

Hi Sara, It is under contact information.. you can give them a call at 877-PCA-SKIN(722-7546). You may also send an email to info@pcaskin.com. They are very helpful and can talk to you about how to get started on getting certified to do their gentle but very effective peels that help to address a variety of skin conditions. Clients tend to come more for peels than facials because they can actually see a difference in their skin.  I also love their product line! I've been a certified PCA professional for 2 years now and I am very satisfied with their line and customer service. Also, just to point out, I love the enzyme masks from Skin Script as well! Lisa is really helpful about her line, I'm always reading her replies on this board.
