First brazilian wax....WILD

Oh my God! Finally I did a brazilian to a friend, it was crazy, I decide to use soft wax for pubic area and hard for the labia, the hard wax was easier for remove but with the soft i got problems...i put it several times in the same area because the hairs didn't go. The procedure last almost 1 HR and half...and the most difficult area for remove hair was in the union of the lips in the pubic area! After the wax my friend told me she was going to the beach the next day then I told her she shoul have to wait for proper healing time, but she went despite of my suggestion; now she is telling me that I burned her! Well, she is ok, she knows about she was my first brazilian!
Im not going to give it out, Im going to do the second brazilian this weekend! Any suggestion will be very appreciate if you read this!

Gabriela,

Do you have a dvd or have you taken a formal class on brazilian waxing?? Was there hair long enough? Re-applying the wax multiple times can cause a lot of damage to the skin and what did you use after the brazilian was over??

Hi stephanie, no I don't have the dvd but Im going to buy one, I saw your web and check for your recommendations, I put talc before the soft wax application, but I know that I have to use oil with hard! , then at the end it was a totally mess!
I had no receive the training in my program still,,so Im learning by myself watching videos on internet, reading and asking . I did wax on legs, armpits, eyebrows and Im doing very well! After the procedure I put on her hidrocortizone!

If you are a newbie, you really should use only hard wax to help you get used to the application how applying good pressure to get down to the skin (hard wax only grabs the hair not the skin so don't be afraid about pressure) and many small strips at a time is key. Keep watching the Wax Chick and Wax Diva dvd over and over, if you have not purchased it then I highly recommend that you do!

Hi, Are you familiar with Lori Nestore? Sh is known as the wax queen, she has a dvd called "the whole ball of wax", it is a comprehensive guide to full body waxing. Her Brazilian demos are great. A must have for any serious waxer. Her company is called Eva's Esthetics.

Yes, I saw her through the internet, but on her website states that her products are sold just for license estheticians which I don't have because Im a student !
