Hello to all,

I am currently working as a medical transcriptionist, but my first love was/always has been esthetics. I have had my esthetics license for over 10 years but have not been practicing in the field. I would now like to return to the field, specifically for waxing at this point, for various reasons. Of course, I did have training in waxing while in school, but I definitely need more training - having been out of the field for so long now.

Suggestions on comprehensive training would be so much appreciated. I live in a suburb about 20 minutes away from Pittsburgh and cannot afford to travel too far away at this point for training.

TIA! Help from those who are currently in the field would, again, be so very much appreciated!

Hi Terri,

Learning is always fun and remember that waxing is something you have to use all the time. Its a learned skill by application over...and over and over again.

There are many ways to learn and I always suggest DVD's so that you can always keep them on hand and refer to them as many times as you want. I will be in Cleveland, OH doing training in August and I will also be at the Philly Show in October doing classes at the show and waxing on the show floor.

Visit my online website www.ssmoothskinsupply.com to watch our FREE video tutorials and you can always email or call us with any questions!

Thanks for the reply, Stephanie!  I will take a look at your website for sure and check out the Cleveland training and what all is involved!

Thanks again! Have a GREAT day!
