Lori- also for info tonight-you can go to the Wax Queens Message board and search Brazilians-there is a ton of reading on there as well.

Lori-that's sad-that area especially can be tricky hair direction wise, up, down, sideways. Sometimes, though I do find it hard with gloves, you can feel, it'll be smoother in the direction of growth. After several it'll come a bit easier. I use hard wax, that way you can do a back and forth wrapping the hair and catch a couple of directions. Not so much when using soft-at least for me. Also, I use Beridin hard and soft which both employ a small amount of oil. some waxes use powder. You might have just needed a little more pressure. Two gals on here Cricket and Stepanie Layne have video's, and I have and like the Whole Ball of Wax by the Wax Queen. You can pick up some professionals waxing and tips on youtube. I know how frustrating it can be.

Please help. I tried a brazillian on my friend. Her hairs were long and I cut it shorter. I could not see what hairs were going and the wax stuck soo bad down there. Now I'm scared to do it. I'm in cooper city fl. Where is the training!!

A moican wax is a Brazilian wax- leaving a strip of hair on top. It's also very common for my clients to ask for a small v or triangle rather than a strip.

I just had a new Brazilian client book asking for either a sensual or a Moican, does anyone know what she is talking about?

I emailed her saying I don't offer that because I have no idea what she is talking about but have not heard back.

Hello, so glad to see this group. I took a Brazilian/ Bikini and Body Waxing class 2 years ago, but went 6 months without practicing. I have since went through little demos but I notice I'm struggling with my pull in certain areas.  Also do any of you have advice for client after care and ingrowns?
