#5 Leslie Thornton

This doll came across our radar after  hearing and reading dozen of positive clients reviews . L.A. esthetician Leslie Thornton is an experienced esthetician.  She is the founder of Klurskin Asthetics and its accompanying skincare line. She created Klurskin after developing a desire to create a natural/organic product line specifically tailored to her customer’s needs. All of the products are fragrance, sulfate, and paraben free, and in 2015 the products were picked up by the store Urban Outfitters.

#4 Shani Darden

Who do Chrissy Teigen, Jessica Alba, and Kelly Rowland all have in common?  Shani Darden.....Of course.  This celebrity esthetician has really made her mark in 2015  and the press loves her. She appeared in magazines and blogs everywhere and celebrities swear by her. In a 2015 interview with Allure magazine Kelly Rowland proclaimed" Shani Darden changed my face in a day". Shani strongly believes in a problem-solving, uncomplicated, yet effective approach to skin care. She has a skin care line and locks in the #4 spot.

#2 Marla Beck

When she started Bluemercury in 1999 all she wanted was a "neighborhood store where the staff was expertly trained in all the brands and you could touch and play with product". That's all Marla Beck wanted and that simple vision turned into a 210 million purchase from Macy's Inc. this year. Bluemercury made headlines this year for  this amazing move.  Marla Beck is co founder of Blue Mercury the other half of the team is her husband. The two will continue to operate the company and maintain their proprietary skincare line M-61.

#1 Jillian Wright-2015's Most Fascinating Esthetician

Jillian Wright is the founder of the Indie Beauty Expo (iBE). She created it out of  frustration after feeling like an outsider in a world that she was a part of for 17 years: the spa industry.  She decided to make a change and create a platform; the Indie Beauty Expo. The expo focuses on three very important components: press, buyers and consumers. The event drew in an incredible mixture of industry professionals and consumers. It was an unforgettable event with one of our very own behind its success!

What do you think of this years list? Did we miss anyone?
