Hi Erina,
What I have noticed since doing microcurrent is results really vary from person to person. I like to look at Microcurrent treatments as a work out for the face; Some people get quick lasting results and others don't. Results can vary based on age of client, condition of skin, do they sleep well, lifestyle habits, alcohol consumption, poor diet, higher bodyfat percentage; do they have fillers and botox, are they dehydrated( lot's of water is very important to keep the toxins and lymph moving and to reduce puffiness). Clients must look at the treatments as if they were going to a trainer... You won't see results if you don't change lifestyle habits.. This is what I tell my clients..Diet and lifestyle are key to seeing long lasting results. Second... Some clients muscles react quicker then others, so coming in twice a week, no longer then once a week is ideal. It takes 6 sessions to start seeing lasting results but 10 is minimum. The first few treatments, the results only last a few days so that is why a series is important. In the beginning I did exactly what I was trained but I noticed not everyone got the same results, so experiment with some other techniques other then what you were trained. Spend more time on the problem areas...practice on a friend...
Also make sure to incorporated other serums to use under your conduction gel.. I like topical tox serums to use betweent the brows and around the eyes..
The type of conduction gel also varies the results. What type of gel are you using? I found Aloe gel does not give the best results... you want a gel that is full of peptides,vitamins.. ect..
I would incorporate the one time treatments( Eye lift, puffy eye reduction ect) to those that are going to a wedding, event ect and they just need a little temporary perk. I actually sell a lot of one time micro current treatments but they have to be marketed different then someone doing a series. When I do these treatments I also incorporate a mini facial with enzymes to give them the glow..
After clients complete a series ( And not everyone will see results from just 10.. again they might need 15 or 20 as all depends on skin condition, depth of wrinkles, sagging skin ect) they must come in for maintenance... I tell them at least once a month, not longer then 6 weeks.. At this point you can do just a Micro current facial or combine it with a deep pore cleaning facial...
Long lasting Microcurrent results is not for those that only want one or two treatments once a month and expect to see significant lasting results. For those clients that don't have the time or money to spend on a series but are interested in microcurrent you can always just incorporate 20 mins or so into there facial to push in products and target there problem areas such as eye bags, jowls, neck ect.. It does help and also helps to push in products..
Anyways, hope this helps and excuse the typos... :)
Hello Everyone! I have purchased and have been using microcurrent machine for 2 months now. Main concern that my clients have is that results are great but last only 1-2 days and that's frustrating. I like machine a lot but now I am hesitant to promote it since I don't want to disappoint my customers. 2 out of 5 got really good results but other 3 not that much. Any suggestions?
Hi Karen,
It went really well. I made sure I did first phase on each client for whole 2 days so now I am completely comfortable with it. I want to be able to do it on myself and I think I can manage it. How did you promote it after VIP event? I am planning to do Microcurrent Intoductory Special for next month and do first treatment at 50% off and then apply it towards the package. What was your strategy, if you don't mind sharing? We did not sell that many packages at VIP event since I did not want to discount my prices as heavily as trainer suggested. What do you normally charge?
And how long does it take to see results? She said after 5 treatments but they stay after 10. What is your experience?
I have my first paying client tomorrow morning and of course, she did Botox 2 weeks ago on 11 between eyebrows! Trainer said its Ok after 10 days but that's not what you said in your first email. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you so much!
