I am a specialist in eyebrow shaping and pride myself in waxing. I live in the midwest and may not be as current on the waxing scene as I should be in terms of hard wax and brazilian. I feel I need to get with the times and not be so intimidated by such intimate waxing. Any advice on good wax and getting started?

I too am a waxing and threading specialist.  I have been in the industry for 22 years and did a "tune-up" on my technique as well as trying new waxes.  I have narrowed my search down to two that I love.  Starpil has a variety of different types of hard waxes.  This is comparable to Berins and Cerepil.  It is TONS less expensive especially when buying in bulk. Also, their cartridge system is fabulous!!  Their strip wax is also exceptional!!  Satin smooth film waxes are also a favorite for mens grooming as well as underarm hair.  I am a new fan of sugaring.  To be a specialist, I feel it is important to carry a variety as no hair is created equal.  I am always on the hunt for what would add to my "arsenal"!!  Happy hunting and enjoy your new techniques!  Be patient with yourself and keep your mind open!!

Berins wax is the best in my book.  Also the DVD "The Whole Ball of Wax" by Lori Nestore is the greatest and watching it will greatly help in the area of confidence.  Both of these may be obtained through Eva's Esthetics.  www.evasesthetics.com
