Why I love my job

As a newly licensed esthetician, I want to just state how happy I am that I had the chance to go back to school to follow my passion and make a career out of it. It feels good to get up in the morning and look forward to going to work. I love helping people with their skin care issues. There is nothing more rewarding to me than when a client comes back to tell me how great their skin feels since their last treatment, or that they love a product I recommended. Being so new to the industry, I love the position I'm in, where I get free training and get to work with a more experienced skin therapist. The opportunity to learn from people in this industry is invaluable. This site and the networking available is a Godsend.

I feel the same way. I just got my license last May 2010 and love what I am doing. I've been working at a Salon & Spa for the last 6mos. and love it. I also work for a spa by appt only which is really nice ;0) There are so many things to learn but I am trying to take it one thing at a time. Otherwise , I will be too overwhelmed.

I own a manual hair removal business but have worked just about every job in the field short of product development. Let us cheer you on and encourage you in times of trouble. I certainly cannot imagine doing anything else!!!

Running an acne clinic, I get to do as many extractions as my heart desires (which I love) and see my client's lives change as their skin gets clear. It doesn't get any better than that! And now I get to mentor other esties (and employees) which is also incredibly rewarding and empowering for them. And yes, this is a great website!
