Working in a Plastic Surgeon's office

Is anyone working or has worked with a plastic surgeon? If so, can you please give me some feedback about whether or not it's a good situation for you? I currently rent a room at a cute salon and was interviewed to work out of a plastic surgeon's office. He hasn't given me the commission splits yet, so I haven't made a decision as to whether or not it's a good career move.  If anyone has any feedback about this, it will be much appreciated!

Hi Denise.....Throughout my 25 years in the industry I have worked with a few Plastic Surgeons. I would go to the Surgeons office one day a week while I had my own business. I liked havng my hands in the medical side so I could keep my clients updated on the latest and greatest. I did this for 12 years with a female doc....she was awesome and generous with pay. I did short periods of time with a few male docs and they were, well, let's just say "interesting" to work with. It's been quite a few years and things may have changed since then but I feel like it was a fabulous opportunity and great education for me.
