Hi Everyone!

I would like to know what people are planning for fall facials.  I'm thinking of pumpkin smelling products but are there any other ideas/options?

Thanks!

Pumpkin is a standard. Try and think outside the box and maybe offer a "remember summer" facial using sea products or something tropical. A day at the beach in December sort of thing.

Love that "remember summer"

I have had success in the past with seasonal facials, and am considering it again, this year, but sort of wondering if it isn't just a little bit foo-foo.

I think a lot of people look for those specialty facials according to the season. Peter Thomas Roth has a yummy enzyme peel that is great for a treatment and for retail.

I like to create my own pumkin facial mask with pumpkin puree, raw honey and oat flour. You can also add a dash of cinnamon to it.
Great idea!
Love it! But why the oat flour?

A few companies have a layered facial option.  I know Image does and Repechage does.

I am using the SkinScript enzyme (coconut/raspberry/harvest) first, then layering their 2% retinol scrub, then another layer of enzymes, and top with Goji Berry yogurt masque...  Each layer is massaged into the skin, then left on for a minute assuming the skin is tolerating well...  You can remove with the skin spatula, put serum on under gauze, and top with a clear gel masque while you massage upper body...  DANG!  I WANT ONE OF THESE!!!

Wow! Never heard of a layering facial... now the wheels are turning in my head!

The concept is relatively simple.  You do not remove any layers until they have all done their "thing"..  You just put one on with your fingers or brush, work into the skin for a minute, then add the next layer, work in, let sit for a minute, then add the next layer and finish with the masque.  Remove with the skin spatula is always a cool thing to do, and then finish facial as you wish...

Nondy...you are awesome. How creative. I have all of these enzymes from Skin Scripts, so guess what I'm doing today!! Layering!

Nondy and Shelley,

What type of skin spatula are you using?  I don't have one yet but am on a tight budget and want the best bang for my buck....

Thank You both sooo much!
