wow you have very nice nice room
Thanks for sharing Susan. Your home based clinic is gorgeous. My goal is to have my practice at home too. For now, I am a mobile service. If we can have a vision of what we want. We can accomplish it. I'm so inspired. Thank you again,
Eva
Hello eh-makeup
I don't have a lot of equipment. Because, I to am building up my clientele. I have a table top steamer, crock pot for a towel cabby, dual wax pot, portable massage table and my products that I use. I have bags to put my stuff into by My Thirty-One. For now it is working out. '0)
the crock pot is a great idea! thanks for responding :)
Just posted a picture here of my home based business for those of you who may be interested. I have used antiques in this room to match the style of my 1920's home. I wanted to stay away from a sterile look, wanted something relaxing in style. This room looks over my herb garden where I harvest fresh herbs for facials. My clients enter through my front door and living room then to this room which was formally a childrens room off the kitchen. I used drapes to close off for privacy. An old oak file cabinet (a friend gave me this) is used for supplys and my sink to the right of the bed is an old sewing machine stand with a new sink resting on top. Music and more supplies are in an old tall wood cabinet from the twenties. My floor is old pine and an overhead fan is on the ceiling for cooling clients on hot days. I keep a pitcher of lemon flavored water (use organic essential oil, a few drops) and place lemon verbena or mint leaves from my garden floating in the pitcher. My certificates are displayed in antique frames on the walls along with a painting (copy) of a beautiful woman clothed in a flowing white gown holding a basket of flowers. I serve a shot glass of raspberry liqueur for clients while they are changing into their gown in the guest bathroom which has a vase of fresh herbs and a lit candle on the sink. Believe me when I say my clients don't want to go home! I would love to hear any questions or more comments on a home based business. It is an exciting time in my life having this home based business. There are drawbacks and issues, however, but the rewards exceed these!
Sayra, thank you so much for sharing! The space looks so nice and cozy, awesome job! :)
