There are a few companies to choose from on this site from the blog that i wrote on it a few months ago.  They all seem to be good reputable companies and i am still searching for more.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Thank you Claire!

Have you checked with your currect customers to see if they WANT this service?

I have to agree with Cindy - may want to check with your clients and to see if this is a service they would be interested in receiving.  Bests

Have you checked that this is within the practice of an esthetician in your state? In many places an esthy cannot bleach hair or use permaent dyes. So anal bleaching would not be allowed for an esthy, it would be a cosmotologist performed service.

As of yet there is no state regulation with the state board of b and cosmetology within the U.S.A that has a regulation against this.  I am sure over time, this will change.   (the last time i did my research was about 4 months ago) Dec 2011

But you aren't bleaching hair, just brightening skin. Same as any other skin body part.

Thank you again Claire! We are allowed to lighten brows and other body hair.

Funny that you mentioned that!  Hope you don't mind me swinging onto another topic here:  I was asked today about lightening the brows and since i have been in the States this is the first time i have been asked about it.  Where do you buy your lightening product from for the brows?  Just curious as it is readily available in Europe...i have just not 'seen' it hear?

here i mean not 'hear'!!

This will depend on what state you are in. Some allow esti's to do this and some don't. In florida we can do brow and lash tinting using vegatable dye only. You cannot lighten or bleach a brow only darken them with this type semi-permanent dye.

I've recently started doing research for this service too. I've had clients start to ask about this in DC. I came across a few sights that compare bleaching products.http://www.analbleaching.com/reviews/ http://analbleachingreviews.org/ http://skin-bleaching.org/#review

Does anyone else perform this and how were the results? Is there a training on the east coast anywhere?
