Ultrasound in facials

Hello all, I purchased a microdermabrasion machine that also has an ultrasound component. I am unfamiliar with the use of ultrasound in a facial and the machine did not come with any instructions. Does anyone know where I can find more information about its' use?

I am in the same boat. Would love any info, testimonials, or websites that could enlighten me concering ultrasonic. I bought my multi-function unit second hand (it was barely used) and the poorly translated instruction from the manufacturer are a joke. I refuse to use it until I know the benefits and contraindications. Hope someone can steer us in the right direction!

Does it have two handpieces or just one?

The "blade" can be used for ultrasonic exfoliation and product infusion.

But the flat head handpiece is just for product infusion,

You use that to lightly massage the products into the skin.

Elle, I found some helpful video clips on youtube and ehow. You should check them out. I am also going to check with a great esthetics instructor I know to see if she has any helpful information. Unfortunately, when I was in esthetics school in 1994, they didnt cover this topic. Best wishes!
