The spa where I work is merging with a Dermatologist, which is great, as we will become more medical and clinical. The Dr is insisting we use Skin Ceuticals. I don't know anything about this line. Does anyone have any feedback? He will be referring patients to us for the esthetic side of skin care, but from what I know of him, he isn't interested in that side of things. Anyway, I'd love some feedback on the line. I was hopeful that with being an IC, I would have some say in the product line, but now things are changing again, and I'm not sure I even understand what I am anyomre. Thanks.

It's been a few years for me also.
The products are solid but very expensive.
If his client base is already using it, you won't have a problem.
I would suggest, when you develop a good working relationship with your doc, that you bring on some additional backbar especially peels and masques, and then bring on a more extensive or targetted retail line...such as for acne...or one with a lower price point. Not to steer biz away from Skinceuticals, but to cover all your bases with clients.
I don't know if his patients are using any products, he doesn't do esthetic dermatology at all. I'm not sure how my clients will feel about it.
Really wanted to bump this up again, hoping some others will have some input. Thanks.
I have never personally work with the line, but I have had a close relative that suffered from mild acne and it helped her alot. She did say the serums and some of the products can be kind of pricey. Sorry if I'm not much help, but she seemed to loved their products.
I love skinceuticals, they have great backbar and retail products. They are known for their micro-peel treatments which is a dermaplane/peel that also uses cryotherapy. I am a huge fan of dermaplaning, i find it to be my favorite manual exfoliation. I love some of their peels- the 30%sal and the 2%lactic are my favorites. Retail wise- they are known for their high potency anti-oxidants c ferrulic and phloretin cf. I love the C Ferrulic/ Clear and Brilliant laser permea and have been using that combination on a lot of my patients. I adore their Epidermal Repair moisturizer/ post peel recovery balm. Only thing i would advise is to have your patients a patch test bc i have seen some funky reactions to the C Ferrulic acid, they provide alot of samples of products so its usually easy to have the patient test it out first. Our skinceuticals rep is amazing too btw!
