NEED Advice-with out getting into the MLM and all that goes with that vs selling professional products

I don't even want to say the name of company but had a lady come in 2x for facial with dermafile and light peel 2x. She selling KV and talked about it threw the WHOLE SECOND treatment. I listened and stated the obvious but she went on and one about how they are professional and different and so on with ingredients. She invited me to Event- I declined- she emailed me 3x and today dropped off samples ( I was with a client). I have been nice and professional. I never had anyone give me this much PIA over MLM. I emailed and thanked he and said I would be donating to local shelter. She emailed back and called...

What would you do????

I can't ignore her- tried that....she showed up..which is not acceptable now or in future- I just wish she would get the hint without me having to go "there"..??

What is it that you are afraid of with telling her that you are not interested?  I am not interested, stated repeatedly whenever she opens her mouth to spew out her speel on the product will eventually make her back off.   No matter what she say's or asks you ..... just repeatedly say "because I am not interested".  A good sales person should recognize a 'need' she is obviously not a good sales person because you have no 'need' for what she is trying to sell you.

Sorry to hear she is badgering you (this is unacceptable) I have also been on the receiving end and when I just stand there and say nothing but "I am not interested" ..... they get the message.

Thank you all! I think she got the point after the 5th and LAST time ...so ODD

I agree with Claire. This is not a client, she is a salesperson and you should treat her the same way you would treat any other rude, pushy, aggressive salesperson who comes into your business repeatedly after being told you're not interested.

If she was coming into your business to sell vacuum cleaners, time share resorts, or used cars instead of skin products, you'd probably have done this:

First time she comes in trying to sell you something: A nice smile and a firm "Thank you, but I'm not interested, and I would rather not have salespeople calling here."

Second time: "Ma'am, I have already told you our policy on salespeople coming in to solicit business here. I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

Third time: Calling the police or the building security guy in cases where you have one, would be an option in most people's minds by this point.

So, why shouldn't the same thing apply to harassment from someone selling skin products as any other type of repeated unwanted solicitation during business hours?

Tell her that selling OTC products is against your skin care philosophy and you purchase strictly where products are only available to ;icensed professionals that went to school and obtained an esthetic license.  Tell her you don't agree with the MLM structure and you need products that are exclusive and can't be bought from every one and their mother.  That is super annoying.  I have had my fair share of annoying MLM's trying to get me on board.

AGREE 100% with you Ladies!
