So I have this new client that is getting married on July 7th. She has acne scars, uneven skin tone and melasma. I have not worked on her yet. She has no allergies, is on no meds and has no restrictions. She is willing to use home care products and will stay out of the sun. I want to be able to give her quick results and beautiful skin by her wedding. :) She is realistic in her expectations but hopeful.
I was thinking of doing a peel series (glycolic/tca) mixed with dermafiles. The 1st facial I will go easy so that I can learn her skin and see how she reacts to things. And I will start her on home care too.
Home Care-
Green Tea Cleanser
Glycolic Cleanser
Glycolic Pads
Cucumber Toner
Hydrating Serum
Vitamin C serum (depending on her budget)
Ageless Skin Moisturizer or Peptide

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!

Good Morning Devyn! Good plan listed above.  I like that you added that the client in realistic in her expectations. She will more than likely see improvement as she begins using Skin Script home care products. As you know, the closer you get to the date you will have to back off on peeling. Good luck! Take pictures!

Thanks Dave! Do you think having her use the Gly/Ret Pads everyday (or maybe every other) is too much in combination with the peels?

I plan on giving her 5 days to recover from our last treatment. Based on previous experience, this should be enough time but I will change it if her skin peels/flakes differently.

Thanks again!

I would have her use them every day.  Maybe the week before her wedding just do something hydrating like the lemon enzyme and maybe some LED.  my friend started coming to me about 6 months before and I was treating her with mostly lactics but she did purchase a clarisonic and swore by it...maybe you could add some retinol scrub in there???

Glycolic/Retinol Pads can be used everyday, but should she start to experience sensitivity or excessive dryness she should back off of them and go back to every other day. Also, I agree with both Jamie and Sheila suggestions below...great comments. (Although using a Clarisonic used with a scrub can be alot of exfoliation). Vitamin C works great. Also hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!! :-)

Oh yes, not together :).  LOL...OOPS!  Thanks Dave

Looks great!! Hopefully she can afford the Vit C as that is a natural skin lightener and will really help if she has uneven pigmentation :-)

Thanks! I know this is a gift from her fiance so I hope that she can get everything! :)

Thanks everyone! What is crazy is that I had another consultation for someone getting married the week after this woman and she has pretty much the same issues and wants to see what can be done. Weird how things happen! :) My issue with this one is that she is a picker. I told her all my concerns with that so hopefully she will be able to give it up.

Getting pictures of both! Very excited!!

When it rains...it pours! Good for you! Keep us posted.

So I finished the series and my clients skin looked SO good! She purchased all the home care products, was super care careful about the sun (even purchased a hat) and she got the results she wanted. She was really happy! Here is a picture of before and after. I thought I had the lighting figured out but I didn't. Also, the texture of her skin vastly improved. Before we started it felt like the skin of an orange.

WOW! Way to go on the series! Thanks for posting pictures. Getting the lighting figured out is always a challenge. But it looks like your client had GREAT results. She must be very happy. Thanks again, Devyn for posting the before and after pictures!

Great Job!!! Don't you just love it when the client does everything suggested for home care? Really makes all the difference! She will have great wedding pictures and be so happy . Good feeling knowing you helped her. Keep up the good work  and thanks for sharing Helps us all !
