Eye Lash/Brow Tinting

Hi,

Does anyone here offer these services? if so, how popular is it? What product line is good etc?

It's popular, especially in the summer when the hairs start to bleach out from the sun.

I think most of us that offer it use Intensives tint and developer, which can be obtained through Universal. I believe they have a starter kit.

It's extremely popular. Eyebrow tinting is mainstay service that I offer as an addon to all my brow waxes. It looks awesome. Eyelash tinting is not as popular but I do several a week at least and I only recommend it to clients who have blonde eyelashes. The difference is dramatic for them, but if they have brown to black eyelashes already its not really worth it.

I agree with Samantha. I charge 25 for brows, 25 for lashes. Takes 10min.

I use Intensive which I order from Universal Companies and I really only need Brown, Middle Brown, Auburn, Deep Black and Blue Black. I'm going to try Graphite as well because I have some grey haired ladies that those colors don't work on. I purchase the Intensive developer and a bottle of color remover from the hair supply which I pour into a bottle pump for easy clean up on the skin. I also like the little glass dipper dishes from the nail supply to mix my tints in because they're so small and still heavy enough not to roll around on me. Remember, a little bit goes a long way.

I charge $18 for brow tints and $20 for lash tints.

You guys have been so helpful. Thank you. I got a little crazy with the eyebrow tint and now by brows are black. I tried mixing the 2 browns together and it wasn't dark enough so I mixed the brown and black, way to much black. Quite ugly.

Any suggestions? All I want is a dark brown. If I went over my brows again could I harm them, like would they fall off:)
