In July 2008, a historical ruling was passed by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.  Dermaplaning, Lancing and laser is within the scope of practice for aestheticians and cosmetologist with proper training.  The aesthetics schools have implemented dermaplaning, lancing and laser training within the 600 to 750 hour training programs. 

The last procedure I would like to see is a a board for permanent makeup. 

I am so proud to be in the cosmetology business.
